How can I use Swank K-12 Streaming in the Classroom?

Directly from your SmartBoard
- Open the SmartBoard Browser from the SmartBoard Home screen
- Visit our ClassLink launchpad - launchpad.classlink.com/keystonecsd
- Once you have logged into ClassLink click on Swank K-12 Streaming
- Browse to the material you wish to present and select Watch
- Ensure that AirPlay/Screen Mirroring is turned off
- leaving Screen Mirroring on will lead to a blank video with sound due to DRM
- Open your Chrome Browser
- Visit our ClassLink launchpad - launchpad.classlink.com/keystonecsd
- Once you have logged into ClassLink click on Swank K-12 Streaming
- Browse to the material you wish to present and select Watch
- Once the video has loaded, right click anywhere on the video and select Cast...
- Choose your SmartBoard from the dropdown list that appears
- In the event the video begins to buffer, you may need to Refresh the page and re-Cast the video
- You may navigate to other Chrome tabs while the video continues to play on the SmartBoard
With an HDMI cable
- Connect your SmartBoard to your MacBook with an HDMI cable and CalDigit or other HDMI capable connector
- Choose Allow if prompted to allow the connection of a new device
- Follow steps 1 through 5 above
- If sound is not coming from the SmartBoard you may need to open the control panel as you did above, but click on the > symbol in the upper right corner of the Sound panel, and then choose your SmartBoard from the dropdown menu that appears, generally the first option under MacBook Speakers
