How to use the LHU virtual environment

Lock Haven University, now part of the Commonwealth University system, offers a virtual environment which can be used from your KCSD issued Chromebook! Please see the instructions below for how to connect through their virtual environment.
- Open Chrome browser on your Chromebook
- Navigate to https://chrome.google.com/webstore
- Click on “For Keystone Central School District” in the left column.
- Select “VMWare Horizon Client for Chrome” from the list of available apps.
- Click “Add to Chrome”
- Click “Add app” on the pop-up menu that appears, which prompts you to accept installation details. Do not press the Enter key, as that will cancel the installation.
- Click the Launcher (circle icon) on the bottom-left of your Chromebook screen.
- From the list of apps in the Launcher, open VMWare Horizon Client for Chrome.
- Click the + symbol in the top-left of the app’s home screen to add a new connection
- In the Connection Server field, enter: myvm.commonwealthu.edu
- Optionally, add a description for organization/customization.
- Click Connect
- At the following login screen, enter your Commonwealth EDU account username and password to log into the virtual environment.
- In most cases, this will be your @lockhaven.edu account.
